Georgia Tech ASCE 2023-2024 Sponsorship Package

For all new and returning companies, GT ASCE has altered its Sponsorship Package for the 2023-24 school year. Based on past choices, we have modified the sponsorship levels as well as changed their prices and those of the in person lunch meetings, the Career Fair, and Team Sponsorships. The complete sponsorship package can be found here and the signup form here.

Career Fair $900

Our chapter of ASCE will be hosting an in person Career Fair during the Spring 2024 semester. This event enables your company to interact with both members and non-members of ASCE. The cost of $900 covers a slot for company representatives. Please consider this opportunity to network with students from the #2 Ranked Undergraduate Civil Engineering Program in the nation (2022-23 U.S. News and World Report). Our students depend on this event for learning about companies and to network internships and full-time positions. The career fair will take place on Thursday, February 1st, 2024. Contact gatechasce@gmail.com for more information.

Weekly Meetings:

The students of ASCE at Georgia Tech would love to hear about your company! This year, we haveĀ  in person weekly company meetings. The environment is casual, and members of ASCE use this setting to ask questions about your company and network with the presenters. Our members use this setting to seek out internships and full-time positions. Meeting dates are on a first-come, first-serve basis. We hope you will take this mutually-beneficial opportunity to get to know our members and interact with the organization!

Check the following table for openings in our weekly meeting schedule, and email us atĀ gatechasce@gmail.com if you have any questions: (table here)

Team Sponsorship $250+

Through our organization, the Steel Bridge and Concrete Canoe Teams are student-run from beginning to end. In Steel Bridge, our members are devoted each year to producing a top-notch bridge, spending countless hours planning the design in teams and then fabricating the parts in the on campus machine shop. Because this is such a rewarding experience for the student, our goal for this upcoming year is to increase student participation to over 40 members. Sponsorship allows for the team to buy steel to produce their design.

A large percentage of our members participate in the ASCE Concrete Canoe Competition held each spring at the Southeast Conference. The student-run team puts their engineering education to the test to design and build the fastest and easiest to maneuver canoe. Members of ASCE love participating on this team because it requires creative ideas and a lot of teamwork. Sponsorship of Concrete Canoe enables ASCE members to participate and buy all the specialized materials it takes to construct a winning canoe!

Timber-Strong is a newer team at GT that we are looking to bolster this upcoming year. This is an ASCE student competition where we must design a sustainable, 2-story light framed wooden building that is then judged on aspects like aesthetics, BIM, sustainability, construction, and presentation. We have not been as focused on the building portion of the competition in past years, but we are looking to form a more comprehensive team and showcase an actual building at competition this year. Sponsorship would greatly help our team in getting the timber and other supplies needed to build a successful building.
