Georgia Tech ASCE 2020-2021 Sponsorship Package

For all new and returning companies, GT ASCE has altered its Sponsorship Package for the 2020-21 school year. With our inability to offer in-person events to companies, we have reduced the price on our career fair registration, and have removed charges for hosting (virtual) weekly meetings with us.

Virtual Career Fair $350

Our chapter of ASCE is the host of Georgia Tech’s School of Civil and Environmental Virtual Career Fair. This event enables your company to interact with both members and non-members of ASCE. The cost of $350 covers a slot for company representatives. Please consider this opportunity to network with students from the #1 Ranked Undergraduate Civil Engineering Program in the nation (2020 U.S. News and World Report). Our students depend on this event for learning about companies and to network internships and full-time positions. The event is scheduled for February 3rd – 4th, 2021. Contact gatechasce@gmail.com for more information.

Weekly Meeting:

The students of ASCE at Georgia Tech would love to hear about your company! This year, we have opted for virtual weekly company meetings. The environment is casual, and members of ASCE use this setting to ask questions about your company and network with the presenters. Our members use this setting to seek out internships and full-time positions. Meeting dates are on a first-come, first-serve basis, and are free of charge for company registration. We hope you will take this mutually-beneficial opportunity to get to know our members and interact with the organization!

Check the following table for openings in our weekly meeting schedule, and email us at gatechasce@gmail.com if you have any questions: (table here)

Team Sponsorship $100+

The Steel Bridge Team through our organization is completely student-run from design to fabrication. Our members are devoted each year to producing a top-notch bridge with countless hours spent on design planning in teams and fabrication of parts in the machine shop on campus. Because this is such a rewarding experience for the student, our goal for this upcoming year is to increase student participation to over 40 members. Sponsorship allows for the team to buy steel to produce their design.

A large percentage of our members participate in the ASCE Concrete Canoe Competition held each spring at the Carolinas Conference. The student-run team puts their engineering education to the test to design and build the fastest and easiest to maneuver canoe. Members of ASCE love participating on this team because it requires creative ideas and a lot of teamwork. Sponsorship of Concrete Canoe enables ASCE members to participate and buy all the specialized materials it takes to construct a winning canoe!
