Timber-Strong is a relatively new ASCE student competition where a team is tasked with creating a sustainable, 2-story light framed wooden building. There are a variety of building constraints and projects are scored based on sustainability, BIM, aesthetics, construction, and presentation.
The fall semester is dedicated to design after the rules are announced, and then fabrication sessions will start early January in order to be ready for competition in March.
Georgia Tech is looking to form a comprehensive team for the upcoming year! Get in contact with the officers to join.
